In this half day course we’ll go from absolute beginner to intermediate level photo and video in one session! We’ll go into some detail on the technical side of things, but this is mostly about what matters – photo and video quality, subject, topics, audio – that kind of thing. The things that get missed, that people maybe don’t think about or don’t think matters. We’ll point them out and explain how to make sure you’re hitting the important marks. In this course we’ll cover: • The technical basics – focus, shutter speed, aperture, ISO/gain, colour temperature • What matters in business photography • The shortlist of things to remember for business photography • How to frame a photograph • How to position a subject • How to get everything in focus • How to make sure your photos don’t look cr*p • Lighting with what you’ve got • Video production 101 • What video works on different platforms • How to make videos • How to get audio right • Video common mistakes and how to avoid them • Video editing – the options • The shortlist of things to remember for business video Our photo and video course is hands on and engaging, we’ll be talking through everything as we go!
